The car-park pit stop — Features

The story

The afternoon car park was meant to be a break from driving. It turned into a pit stop.

The gold LS went up on a jack, the old wheels came off and a set of multi-spoke wheels went on, with half the meet gathered round and a few people lending a hand. No stage and no schedule: just a jack, a pile of wheels and plenty of help.

By evening the LS was parked up on its new wheels, the gold paint catching the last of the light.
