Our end-of-season cruise around Portsmouth — one convoy out, a viewpoint above the harbour, an afternoon in the car park and an evening run.

The End of Summer Cruise was built around driving. We met in the morning, rolled out as one convoy and moved between stops all day: the hilltop viewpoint over the city and harbour, then the afternoon car park — where a gold LS ended up on a jack for a wheel swap — and a final run as the light went.

Lexus brought the biggest turnout, LS and IS saloons both. Around them: BMW tourings and convertibles, a red GR Supra, a purple Nissan pick-up running a front-mount intercooler, a Micra, and a group of riders on sports bikes for the evening run.
